Hello, I’m K. Loral, an indie author from Sweden.
I write stories with strong emotional elements, because that’s what I connect with most: exploring humanity and the complex feelings that come with it.
That usually takes shape as dark fantasy, with morally complex characters and a female lead who has to make choices that aren’t always black and white. I love characters who feel real, true feelings and aren’t perfect from the start. Not the ones who know how to swing a sword and take over a kingdom in one blow, but the ones who are scared, who fail, who seem weak. Their strength is that they learn, they grow, and they always get back up.
My debut series is The Souls Trials, which you can find over in the Library. I have so many more worlds and characters I want to share, and each one of them will leave a mark on the soul.

Jryona is the illustrator behind all the art in The Souls Trials. He’s self-taught, and he really took his time with it. He read through the stories first, then turned them into artwork.
He designed both the art and the cover layouts, the characters, the future merch, all of it. The look of these books is as much his work as the words are mine.
